Issue

Changing Active Hours on Windows 11 Computers.

Active hours lets Windows know when a user is working at the computer. Windows will use this information to schedule updates and restarts when the user is not using the computer.

Resolution

To let Windows decide your active hours based on usage

1. Select Start.
2. Open Settings.
3. Click on Windows Update.
4. From the More options menu, select Advance options.
5. Under Active hours, select Automatically from the drop-down menu to adjust active hours based on activity.

To select your own active hours 

1. Select Start.
2. Open Settings.
3. Click on Windows Update.
4. From the More options menu, select Advance options.
5. Under Active hours, select Manually from the drop-down menu.
6. Manually adjust the start time and end time for active hours.
