Body

Environment

Google Docs

Issue

Google documents with the title included in their metadata will be more accessible to individuals who use assistive technology such as screen readers.

Resolution

To add a title, do the following:

  • If you haven't already done so, install Grackle in your Google Workspace
  • Choose Extensions > Grackle Docs > Launch
  • Grackle will report if a title is missing, and give you the option to either use the existing name of the Google doc or add a separate title.
