How to change your UMICH Password.

Resolution

  1. Go to UMICH Account Management and log in.
    1. If you are unable to login, please use the Forgot password? link, and follow the instructions on-screen
    2. If you login successfully and you are prompted to change your password, follow the instructions on-screen
    3. If you login successfully you are not prompted to change your password, click Change Password in the left side navigation column
      1. Type your new password in the New Password field
      2. Retype your password in the Confirm Password field
      3. Click Set password
  2. If you are not able to complete the steps above, and you are not a Michigan Medicine affiliate please request assistance via this form, to have your account updated.

Michigan Medicine:  Most users with a Michigan Medicine affiliation are redirected to Michigan Medicine services or the Health Information Technology & Services Service Desk to change their UMICH password.

University community members use their UMICH password when logging in to many services and systems at U-M. ITS operates the systems and provides support for this password. Previously this password has been known as the U-M Kerberos password, or the Level-1 password.
