Issue

Windows 11 taskbar is center-aligned by default.  Many people prefer the taskbar to be left-aligned as in previous versions of Windows.

Resolution

To adjust the taskbar alignment:

  1. Click the Windows button
    1. Type "Taskbar settings"
    2. Press Enter OR
      1. Right-click anywhere on the taskbar and select "Taskbar Settings"
  2. From the Personalization > Taskbar menu: Click the "Taskbar behaviors" section to expand the options.
  3. The first option listed is "Taskbar alignment".  
  4. Click the dropdown menu to select "Left".
