When Can a Student See Their New Grade?

Issue

After an instructor enters and approves a student's grade for a class, how quickly can the student see it?

Resolution

• During a term, grades for that term are posted nightly.
  • After an instructor assigns and approves a grade, the student will see it the next morning.
• From the day after the last day of classes through the first week of the next term, grades for the term are posted hourly.
  • After an instructor assigns and approves a grade for that term, the student will see it within an hour.
• Grades for previous terms are posted every Friday.
• The instructor or academic department should contact the Office of the Registrar if they need a grade posted more quickly.
