What is an Mcard and how is it used on campus at the University of Michigan?
Resolution
The MCard is used for many services on campus depending on your affiliation and which campus you belong to.
It is your official University of Michigan ID used for:
- Identification
- Building Access
- Library Card services
- Payment for services
- You must load funds onto it or attach it to an account in order for this to be available
- Discounts on commercial services
- Time Entry (clocking in and out for employment)
- This is used by some departments and involves a physical Time Clock system
