Automated Response When Emailing TeamDynamix@umich.edu

Issue

If you reply to a ticket from "TeamDynamix@umich.edu," the reply is actually sent to "TeamDynamix-replies@umich.itsm.it.edu" and your reply is correctly added to your ticket. However, if you email TeamDynamix@umich.edu directly, rather than replying to a ticket, it will not work. Because we have many groups across campus using TeamDynamix, we do not know where you might be seeking help from. 

Resolution

To address the issue, ITS will send the following email response to anyone directly emailing TeamDynamix@umich.edu.

Subject:TEAMDYNAMIX: UNATTENDED MAILBOX REPLY
We’re sorry, your email sent to the email address teamdynamix@umich.edu was not forwarded to staff, and will not receive a response beyond this automated reply. Please reply directly to the TeamDynamix email notification by sending to the email address in the reply-to field.
