Zoom Profile Picture is Not Accurate

Issue

Zoom Profile Picture is not reflecting the desired picture, especially when in a meeting with video muted.

Resolution

If a profile picture is uploaded that you no longer want, or was imported from a different profile (ex: Google):

  1. Log in to Zoom through umich.zoom.us
  2. Navigate to the "Profile" tab
  3. Click on the current display picture
  4. There are two options: "Change" or "Delete" -- choose the option that works for your case
  5. After this is completed, log out of Zoom both on the website and on your desktop app and then log back in

If the above steps do not display the correct profile picture when the video is muted during a meeting:

  1. In the Zoom Desktop App, click on your user icon in the top right corner
  2. Select "Switch account"
  3. Log in through the "Sign in with SSO" option
