Fixing "Please wait..." PDF Content Issues in Browsers

Issue

When opening a PDF in a browser, the message "Please wait... If this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document" appears instead of the document content.

Resolution

This issue occurs because the PDF is saved as a dynamic PDF (XFA-PDF), which is not supported by many browser PDF viewers. To view the document correctly:

  1. Download the PDF file to your local device.
  2. Open the downloaded file using Adobe Acrobat or another compatible PDF viewer.
  3. Optionally, use Adobe Acrobat's "Print to PDF" feature to create a standard PDF copy that can be viewed directly in browsers.
