At your request, the release of your information has been blocked. If you wish to change your
decision, you may access the service again and approve the release in the future.
Resolution
This error occurs when you decline to release your information to the service you are trying to access. The requested information must be released to access the service.
- Leave the page.
- Try to access the service again to be re-prompted to release your information.
- If you're not re-prompted, use an incognito/private browser to receive the prompt again
- If you're not able to launch an incognito/private browser, use a different browser or clear the cache and cookies for your preferred browser
NOTE: For the UM Emergency Alerts website (alerts.umich.edu), if you Decline the Information Release, you'll encounter an 'Access denied You are not authorized to access this page.' message when you try to visit the site. Use the troubleshooting listed above to be re-prompted to Confirm the Information Release in order to be able to access the service.
