Sign Out of All Okta Sessions

Issue

Signing out of one U-M website or service does not end other Okta sign-in sessions, so people can still access U-M websites and services without re-authenticating. 

There are some cases where people would want to end all Okta sign-in sessions for increased security, like when they are working in public or on a shared device.

Resolution

  1. Go to https://okta.umich.edu/.
  2. Click View Recent Activity.
  3. At the bottom of the page, under End all sessions, Click the Sign out button.
