Managing Applications and Service Accounts in the AMP Application

Environment

Application Management and Provisioning (AMP) Application, SSH Application, RDP Application, OIDC Application, SAML Application, Service Accounts, Okta

Issue

I want to manage my applications, client secrets, or service accounts in the AMP Application

Resolution

Managing Applications

  • To view all of your applications, click the Resources > Applications link at the top of any page.
  • To view or edit an app, click the name in the App Integration Name column.
  • To view Service Accounts, click the Services menu at the top of any page and then click Service Accounts.

Viewing your Applications

You can view any application for which:

  • You are a Member of the group listed in the Application's Control Group.
  • You are not a member of the listed Control Group but are listed as the application’s Secondary Contact.

Editing Applications

You can edit  any application for which you are a Member of the group listed in the App Management Group.

Managing Client Secrets

Anyone who can view or edit an application can manage that application’s Client Secrets.

On the Application Details page, you can see or copy a Client Secret. For SSH and OIDC applications, you can also generate a second client secret.

  1. In the “Client Secrets” section, click the Copy button to copy your new Client Secret.
    • Each SSH and OIDC application can have up to two active secrets at once.
    • Each RDP app can only have one client secret at a time.
  2. To create a new secret, click the Create new secret button.

WARNING: DO NOT RESET CLIENT SECRETS UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO IMPLEMENT THE NEW SECRET.

  • Resetting the client secret immediately invalidates the original secret and CANNOT BE UNDONE. Do not reset the secret until you are ready to implement the new secret. Invalidated secrets cannot be restored.
