How to add/remove GSI/other instructors on the Tandem Course?

You can add or delete administrators (e.g. GSIs) on the Tandem course. Once you add someone as the owner, you cannot remove the owner. Contact the tandem support team to do it.

 

Add administrator (GSIs or other instructors)

  1. Log in to Tandem

  2. Click “Menu” in the upper left corner.

  3. Click “Accounts”.

  4. Click “Add Account”                                                                                                               

  5. Input the person’s first and last name, email address, and access level.

    • There are two access levels: owner and assistant

      • The permission in the course are basically the same for the two levels, but assistants don’t get automatic access to past and future courses, while owners do.

  6. Once you finish editing, click "save".

Remove assistant

  1. Log in to Tandem

  2. Click “Menu” in the upper left corner.

  3. Click “Accounts”.

  4. Click “the pencil icon” next to the account name

  5. Click "Delete".                                  

  6. Click "Save".
