Accessing Problem Roulette from Canvas

 

Before you can make use of Problem Roulette within Canvas you must first have an active course in Problem Roulette.
If you do not have an active course in Problem Roulette please reach out to us at ProblemRoulette-Support@umich.edu for assistance.

 

Add Problem Roulette to your Canvas Course Navigation

Adding Problem Roulette to your Course Navigation will provide students a direct link to the Problem Roulette Dashboard where they can begin a study session in any course they have access to, including yours.

  1. Choose “Settings” from the course navigation menu. Choose the Navigation tab
  2. Find Problem Roulette in the list of tools you haven’t enabled yet
  3. Drag and drop the Problem Roulette to the desired position in the list of active tools
  4. Click Save at the bottom of the page to put Problem Roulette on the course menu

 

 

Add Problem Roulette to a Canvas Module

Adding Problem Roulette to a Module in Canvas will provide students a direct link to begin a study session in your course in Problem Roulette.

  1. Click + in the Module you want to add Problem Roulette to.
  2. Choose External tool from the dropdown and then select Problem Roulette from the list.

  3. After selecting Problem Roulette select the course in Problem Roulette that you want to connect to Canvas.
  4. Choose if you want Problem Roulette to load in a new tab or be indented and click Add Item
