How can I edit assignments?

Iterations are always encouraged and changing your mind on something you already created is not unusual. Or, sometimes you may want to reuse some old materials with small adjustments. Therefore, GradeCraft provides features that support you to modify existing assignments individually and in bulk!

 

 

Editing assignments in bulk

  1. Click "Assignment Settings" under "Setup" from the left-hand menu. Expand the "Setup" folder if needed 
  2. Here, you can directly edit some basic settings of all assignments while still having the links to the editing pages
  3. Hover over the grade levels to see the points needed for each level
  4. Click on the assignment type banners to collapse and expand the assignment types 
  5. Hover over the symbols to see what they mean. For the columns from left to right: 
    • Name: the titles of the assignments. Edit by typing in the text boxes 
    • Eye Symbol: Check the box to make the assignment visible to students
    • Asterisk: Check the box to make the assignment required
    • Paper Clip Symbol: Check the box to make the assignment allow submission
    • Pencil Symbol: Check the box to allow students to log their own grades
    • Points: Change the point value of the assignment by typing in the text boxes
    • Dates: Change the Open/Due/Accepted Until date by choosing the dates and times on the calendars
    • Edit & Delete: Click the links to edit and delete the assignment 

Editing individual assignment

Click "Edit" on the screen of the Assignment Settings page from the previous section OR:

  1. Click "Assignments" under "Coursework" from the left-hand menu. Expand the "Coursework" folder if needed 
  2. Locate the assignment you want to edit
  3. Click the gear logo under the "Options" column and select "Edit" from the drop down                                      OR
  4. Click the title then click "Edit" from the top right corner 
  5. Edit as usual. Refer to this guide for more help
