Currently, GradeCraft does not have a quiz feature. However, nothing should stop you from incorporating one if you think your course needs it! The solution would be linking the quiz that's stored on a different platform in a GradeCraft assignment.
Below is the guide specifically for quizzes stored in Canvas.
To import the quiz shell
- Create a quiz in Canvas.
- Fill in the descriptions, point values, etc. as usual
- Import the quiz as an assignment to GradeCraft following this guide.
In this way, the quiz shell is imported (including description and point value) but quiz questions are not because GradeCraft cannot hold quiz questions and automatically ignores them when imported. So, you will have to copy the quiz URL from Canvas and paste it into the Assignment Description of the matching quiz assignment.
To copy and paste the quiz link into GradeCraft
the one complication is that Canvas has two types of quizzes: Classic Quizzes and New Quizzes.
For Classic Quizzes:
- Go to the quiz's front page
- Copy the URL
- Paste it into the description of the matching assignment in GradeCraft
For New Quizzes:
For New Quizzes, Canvas automatically takes you to the edit page when you are in instructor view, so you need to make an adjustment in the URL in order to let the students have access.
- Go to the quiz's front page
- Copy the URL
- Paste it into the description of the matching assignment in GradeCraft
- Delete the part after the last splash "/" in the URL
