Learning Objectives

Learning Objectives are an optional feature on GradeCraft, so your instructor may not choose to include them in the course. If they are included, use them to understand the objectives driving your course's design and your learning journey.

Learning Objectives are essentially the backbone of your course. They outline what you should be able to accomplish or understand by the end of the course. These objectives are crafted by your instructor to ensure that the course content aligns with specific learning outcomes. By understanding these objectives, you can focus your efforts more effectively and track your progress throughout the course. Here's how to make the most of them:

1. Aligning Your Efforts

Once you've familiarized yourself with the Learning Objectives, it's essential to align your studying and coursework with these objectives. Prioritize assignments that directly contribute to achieving these goals. This ensures that you're not only covering the material but also mastering the essential concepts outlined by the objectives.

2. Monitoring Progress

Learning Objectives also serve as benchmarks for tracking your progress. In the Learning Objectives tab, you can see the name of each learning objective in the course, the category you belong to, and your progress toward each. You can then click the name of a learning objective to see an overview of how you’ve been assessed on that learning objective in each linked assignment.

3. Seeking Clarification

If you're unsure about any of the Learning Objectives or how they relate to course material, don't hesitate to reach out to your instructor for clarification. Understanding the objectives fully is key to succeeding in the course, so don't hesitate to ask for help if needed.

Understanding the objectives will empower you to navigate GradeCraft with purpose and clarity. If you are having trouble finding the Learning Objectives, look below for help.
