Viewing Financial Aid Notice and Residency on Wolverine Access

How do I view my Financial Aid Notice and residency status on Wolverine Access?

Wolverine Access is a U-M website that can be used by prospective students to monitor financial aid information and residency appeals. It is also used by current students to register for classes, view financial aid, and order transcripts. To log in to Wolverine Access as a prospective student:

  • Select the "Students" Campus Collection and select "New and Prospective Student Business" tile
  • Log in to Wolverine Access using your U-M Friend Account

If you have set up your U-M uniqname, use that to log in to Wolverine Access:

  • Select the "Students" Campus Collection and select "Student Business" tile
  • Use your uniqname and password to log in

The Office of Financial Aid begins sending financial aid notification emails to entering first-year and transfer applicants in February. At that time, prospective students who want to view their aid information may do so by visiting Wolverine Access. From your Student Center, select Financial Aid > Aid Year > Awards > Award Notices. Learn more about your Financial Aid Notice and important financial aid next steps online on our Managing Your Aid webpage.

If you wish to check the status of an already submitted Application for In-state Tuition, please do so through your Wolverine Access account. From your Student Center, select View Application Status under the Residency section.

If you are unable to view panels on Wolverine Access, you may need to enable pop-up windows. Generally, most pop-up blockers can be turned off either within the browser toolbar or within the Windows Taskbar along the bottom right corner of your screen. If you are unsure how to disable pop-up blockers, consult your browser's Help function.

For technical issues with Wolverine Access, please contact the ITS Service Center.
