How can students and alumni order transcripts from the Ann Arbor campus?

Currently enrolled students are encouraged to review their unofficial transcript in Wolverine Access to ensure all grades and degrees are posted before ordering an official transcript.

Current Students and Recent Alumni With an Active U-M Uniqname and Password 

  • Log in to Wolverine Access -Student Business:
  • Navigate to: Student Center > My Academics > Order Transcript/Check Status.
  • You will be redirected to the Parchment Storefront for the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.

Former Students and Alumni Without an Active U-M Uniqname and Password  

Steps for placing your order:  

  1. On the Parchment Storefront for the University of Michigan, enter your email address
  2. If you have an existing Parchment account linked to your email address, you will be prompted to enter your Parchment password.
  3. First-time users:
    • Create a Parchment account by entering your personal and contact information. 
    • Follow all additional prompts to complete the account setup and verification process. 
  4. Select the applicable transcript type on the Available Credentials page:
    • Central Transcript (includes U-M undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs not listed below)
    • Dental School Transcript (U-M D.D.S. program)
    • Law School Transcript (All U-M Law School programs)
    • Medical School Transcript (U-M M.D. or M.M.S. programs)
  5. Set delivery destination:
    • Use the search bar to find the organization or school receiving your e-transcript. If the correct destination is listed, select it from the menu. 
    • If the recipient is not found, click "Sending to Yourself or Another Individual", and select Electronic or Printed & Mailed.
    • Enter the email address or mailing address for the recipient. 
    • Select Mailing Method (if applicable).
    • Select the Purpose (Why do you need the transcript?).
  6. Provide your signature. 
    • If your signature is not on file with Parchment, use your mouse or stylus to sign.
    • Enter your name in the designated fields.
  7. Consent to disclose:
    • Check the box to consent to the disclosure of your transcript.
  8. Review and complete the order:
    • If you select expedited shipping for a printed order, you will be taken to a payment portal to complete your credit card transaction. 
    • Click Complete Order to finalize.
    • An order confirmation will be sent to your email address.
