Request a Change in Class Location

How can an instructor request a different class location?


To request a different location for class meetings, the instructor must contact the department's room scheduling representative who will send an email to ro.curriculum@umich.edu on their behalf.

The email must include:

  • subject
  • catalog number
  • term 
  • class meeting pattern
  • number of seats needed
  • reason for the request

If a specific room or media is needed, this information should also be included. Requests cannot be accepted via telephone.
