Students Enrolled in a Course When They Have Previously Failed the Prerequisite Course

What happens if a prerequisite course is failed and a student is enrolled in the class with the failed prerequisite the next term?

A department has the option to withdraw a student from a class if a prerequisite has not been satisfactorily completed. The student should be notified before they are withdrawn from the class.
