Multiple sections of a class can arrange a common exam time to allow a uniform final examination to be given to all sections. In some cases, this is applied to sections of a course taught by a specific instructor. Requests for unified exams must be submitted in writing to finalexams@umich.edu by the instructor or the department's room scheduling representative and should include the current exam date and time of all sections involved, the requested date and time for the combined exam and the reason for the requested change. All requests must be submitted no later than two weeks prior to the beginning of the Final Examination Period.
