School of Public Health SPH I & II (and associated locations administered by the School of Public Health) Facilities Use Guidelines/Room Reservations

  • Room reservation requests must be submitted at least 48 business hours in advance of the desired date and time. Same-day reservations are not accepted. Any open room can be used for same-day events.
  • View available classrooms and conference rooms.
  • SPH Facilities can only schedule rooms and equipment within School of Public Health buildings.
  • Only faculty and staff affiliated with SPH, and SPH approved student organizations can reserve rooms and spaces within SPH facilities - for SPH sponsored, and SPH related activities.
  • SPH policy is that courses take precedence over other events when scheduling classrooms. Your reservation may be rescinded or changed if it is found tconflict with a course.
  • Rooms not reserved can be used on a first-come, first-served basis: if the room states "free" or "unoccupied" at the room schedule on the door, you may use the room until the next scheduled event.
  • A separate room reservation request form must be submitted for each reservation required (except for regularly recurring meetings)

Those who reserve SPH facilities will be fully responsible for any damage, loss, or destruction of university property that occurs as a result of an event or gathering.

Those reserving SPH facilities must ensure that their event does not, and those participating in their event do not:

  • Violate any laws or University protocols.
  • Disrupt University activities, operations, or the lawful activities of others.
  • Obstruct human or vehicle traffic, including pathways, stairs, aisles, and other access points.
  • Fail to cooperate with Division of Public Safety and Security officers or other University-authorized officials.
  • Use facilities for purposes other than those designated by the University.

Failure tocomply with these guidelines may result in revocation of room reservation privileges.
