Teams is an app that gets installed with the Office 365 installation from Software Center. Once Teams is installed it will auto start every time the computer is started up. To get int setting on Teams, click on the team’s icon on the activity bar on the left-hand side of the screen. Click the gear toward the top of the right-hand side of the screen. You will have to sign into teams to do this.

To stop the auto-start if you do not wish to use Teams. In Figure 1, this is a screen shot of the setting/general tab and the auto-start option is the very fist one. Simply unmark the check box and click OK. Go to the small arrow by the time on the task bar. Click it, and then right click the Teams icon and select quit. This will close the Teams windows.
