Class or programs that meet over Zoom can archive recordings for longer-term retention using Media Gallery. The following instructions will need to be performed by the Zoom meeting owner.
Instructions:
- Go to the ITS U-M Zoom Recordings Manager tool; log in if requested
- From the options provided, we'll use the MiVideo service. Click 'Get started copying recordings to MiVideo'
- Wait a few moments until the page loads your existing cloud recordings from Zoom
- Use the checkboxes to the left of each meeting name to select the class meetings from your Online MPH course

- Click the 'Copy Selected Recordings to MiVideo Now' button at the bottom of the page
- Your recordings will begin to copy from Zoom to the MiVideo platform and will be available on your My Media page. Allow adequate time for recordings to copy, consider moving to the next steps after a few hours or the following day.
- Navigate to your course Canvas site and locate the Media Gallery menu in the left-hand course navigation or enable it if not visible.
- Click 'Authorize' if requested.
- Use the 'Add Media' button on the right-hand side of the screen.

- Your recent videos will be displayed allowing you to select a check box next to the videos to share in this course.
- Scroll to the top of the page and click the 'Publish' button on the right of the screen.
I needed, you can now notify your students that Zoom recordings are available to review from the 'Media Gallery' menu.
