Share Outside Canvas

 

To share a video with users who do not have access to your Canvas course, you can generate an unlisted link via the MiVideo portal.

  1. Go to the main MI Video site. If it doesn't show your media, choose Login in the top right and sign in.
  2. Click on the edit button (pencil icon) to the right of the video you want to share.

  3. Below the video click the Publish tab and choose Unlisted.

    Note: Setting a video to "Unlisted" means anyone with the link can view it, but it will not appear in public search results.

  4. Click Save.
  5. At the top of the page, above the video title, click Back to Media Page.

  6. Click the Share button below the video.
  7. Under Link to Media Page, copy the link provided to share with others outside of Canvas.
