How do I manage the extensions installed in Google Chrome?
Resolution
You can get to the Google Chrome extensions management page by:
- Cutting and pasting the following into your browser: chrome://extensions
- Or, open Chrome on your computer
- At the top right, click the three vertical buttons
- More tools
- Extensions
Disable an extension
- Click the toggle button in the bottom-right corner of the extension tile
- This will leave the extensions installed, but will prevent it from running in Google Chrome
Delete an extension
- Click the "Remove" button on the extension tile
- This will completely remove the extension in Google Chrome
The "Details" button will provide more information and settings specific to the extension
Additional Information
We recommend removing extensions you no longer need and extensions that are unknown to you. Some extensions are malicious in nature and will cause issues with Google Chrome.
