How do I access my Outlook email via the web? 

Resolution

Notice:  As of May 2022, the majority of Michigan Medicine Outlook accounts have been migrated to the Office 365 platform. If you have not had your account migrated, please contact Health Information Technology & Services (HITS) for further assistance.

Michigan Medicine Migrated Users

If your Michigan Medicine account has been migrated to the cloud, you can access Outlook in the following way:

• Go to outlook.office.com
• Log in with your email and UMICH password
• If you have the Outlook icon on the sidebar, you have been migrated and should continue to access your email from the office.com web portal
  • The email.med.umich.edu web portal will no longer work for you
  • If you continue to have issues with your Exchange Migration, you can report those issues to HITS using the following form: https://michmed.service-now.com/sp?id=sc_cat_item&sys_id=870f46a41b61bc9089e7c9d2604bcb16

Michigan Medicine Legacy Users

• Go to email.med.umich.edu from any web browser
• Enter your uniqname and UMICH password to log into Outlook
• You will then be routed into your U-M Outlook (Michigan Medicine) mailbox
