This report is designed to pull parents of currently attending U-M students by specific regions. Users can limit the student population by class year, program level, or a specific SCU.

Why use this report?

This report can be used to identify parents for

- inclusion in a special event mailing based on past giving or rating scores

- inclusion in a mailing based on geographic location

- inclusion in a email blast

E.g. Find all parents of currently attending Masters students at ROSS.

Running the Report Directly

Click the highlighted icon to bring up the user prompts.

If the report is taking too long to run, schedule the report (see above).

Prompts

You then need to set the prompts. (Prompts act as questions that help you to customize the information in a report to suit your own needs!)

Below are the available prompts (with explanation) —

• Select School or College (Required)

  • Allows user to select a specific School or College to search for alumni based on Alumni Affiliation Attribute

  • E.g., School of Information

• Enter Preferred Class Year (Optional)

  • Allows user to enter a 4-digit preferred class year

  • E.g., 2018, 2022

• Enter Educational Program (Optional)

  • Allows user to select a specific degree program

E.g., Bachelor’s Program, Master’s Program, etc.
 

• Select PA Primary Metro Area (Optional)

  • Allows user to narrow search to PA Primary Metro Area(s)

  • E.g., Detroit-Ann Arbor, MI CMSA, Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN
