Constituent Report - Employees by Company

Summary

This article walks users through how to run the Business Object report titled: "Employees by Company". This report is designed to pull all employees and organization contacts of a selected company given the company’s constituent LookupID (LID) or company name pattern.

Running the Report Directly

Click the highlighted icon to bring up the user prompts.

If the report is taking too long to run, schedule the report (see above).

Prompts

You then need to set the prompts. (Prompts act as questions that help you to customize the information in a report to suit your own needs!)

Below are the available prompts (with explanation); though they are both optional, you must enter a value for at least one of them or the report will return no results —

  • Enter Top-Most Parent Constituent LookupID (Optional)

    • Allows user to enter one or more Constituent LIDs for inclusion

  • Enter Top-Most Parent Constituent Name Pattern (Optional)

    • Allows user to enter one or more Company Name patterns for inclusion

    • The pattern must begin and end with a percentage sign — %

    • E.g., %Ford Motor%

Report Tabs

There are 4 report tabs:

  • Employees

    • Displays company employee information, including Constituent LIDs, Full Names, Alumni Status, Degree, Relationship Type, Job Title, Department, Division, Company, Business Address, and Org Contact Type

  • Update Template

    • Displays all fields needed to submit a batch update for the constituent-organization relationship and employment information

  • Organization Contacts

    • Displays all organization contact information, including Employee LID, Full Name, Degree, Employment History Job Title, and Committee

  • Companies Included

    • Includes the LID and Name of any companies included in the search
