Marketing Effort Exclusions Report Codes

Exclusion Name Exclusion Reason
Inactive Constituent record listed as "Inactive."
Deceased Constituent has been confirmed to be deceased.
No Contact/No Event/No Solicitation, etc Constituent has been excluded because they have requested to not be contacted via the University of Michigan or the SCU/department.
Household member in "SEG..."

Constituent's spouse (marked as the primary constituent in DART) already appears in the mailing.

*This will only appear in postal mailings where households are combined.

**The spouse will appear in the addressee and salutation fields in the DART export, even if a "limited to constituent in mailing" name format is selected.
Included in "[Selection Name]"

Constituent has been excluded from the selection listed (e.g. Included in "SPH_CONST_AL").

*This selection must be manually added to the exclusions field when creating the Marketing Effort.
Not in Universe Constituent does not have a valid address (postal/email) listed on their DART profile and/or is not an individual.
*Criteria based on the selected universe.
Constituent is Household Constituent Household LID was imported instead of Constituent LID. Constituent Household LIDs are automatically removed from the Marketing Effort report.
Included in Previous Segment Constituent has been pulled into a segment higher up on the segment hierarchy. 
*Constituents with this exclusion can still be found in the export file.
Mail Address Processing Constituent postal address/email is marked as "Do Not Send."
