Add Missing Start Date to Addresses

What Does It Do?

The OUD-DS3 best practice is for all contact information to have a start date.

This integrity check identifies address records without a start date so that the start date can be filled in with the date that the record was added to DART.

How Is This Done?

This integrity check is run using a SQL Server view called [INTEGRITY_CHECKS].[dbo].[IDS.V-INTEGRITY CHECK-ADDRESS-Add Missing Start Date(DW)], which is located in DB-OUD > Databases > INTEGRITY_CHECKS > Views.

That view queries address records without a start date and creates a batch to update the address start date to the date that the address record was added to DART. This may introduce a lot of start dates from March 2012, when data was migrated to DART from previous systems.
