What Does It Do?
The OUD-DS3 best practice is for individuals to have spousal relationships with other individuals and not with organizations.
This integrity check identifies individuals that have a spouse or spouse/partner relationship with an organization so that the relationship type can be updated.
How Is This Done?
This integrity check is run using a SQL Server view called [INTEGRITY_CHECKS].[dbo].[IDS.V-INTEGRITY CHECK-RELATIONSHIP-Fix Organization Spousal Relationship(DW)], which is located in DB-OUD > Databases > INTEGRITY_CHECKS > Views.
That view queries relationship records of the type ‘Spouse’ or ‘Spouse/Partner’ between an active individual and an organization.
The identified relationship records are sent to Gift and Records Administration (GRA) for a one-by-one review and update.
