What Does It Do?
The OUD-DS3 best practice is for the length of phone numbers to match up with local standards.
This integrity check identifies phone numbers that do not match up with local standards for telephone number length so that the phone record can be inactivated.
How Is This Done?
This integrity check is run using a SQL Server view called [INTEGRITY_CHECKS].[dbo].[IDS.V-INTEGRITY CHECK-PHONE-Inactivate Error Phone Numbers(DW)], which is located in DB-OUD > Databases > INTEGRITY_CHECKS > Views.
That view queries active phone numbers that have been overwritten with the validation error ‘Check the length of the local phone number’. It adds in a Do Not Call flag and an end date of the integrity check run date so that the record is inactivated.
