Constituent Report - Constituents by Constituent Affiliation and/or Comment

​​​​​What does it do?

This report is designed to pull all constituents given a user-specified Constituent Affiliation or Constituent Affiliation Comment. Users have the option to filter out specific affiliations if desired.

Why use this report?

Use this report if you need to:

  1. Find constituents based on their Constituent Affiliation
  2. Find constituents based on their Constituent Affiliation Comment

E.g. Find all constituents with a CEW Newsletter Email affiliation that do not also have a U-M Staff affiliation

Prompts

You then need to set the prompts. (Prompts act as questions that help you to customize the information in a report to suit your own needs!)

Below are the available prompts (with explanation) —

Affiliation Information (At least 1 Required)

Answer the following prompt to restrict display based on selected Constituent Affiliation Information

  • Enter values for Constituent Affiliation Name

    • Allows users to select one or more Constituent Affiliation Names

    • E.g., CEW Newsletter Email, Alumni Club Donor

  • Enter Pattern for Affiliation Comment

    • Allows users to specify text within the Constituent Affiliation Comments

    • E.g., %Friend%

  • Exclude Affiliation (Optional)

    • Allows users to select one or more Constituent Affiliations Names to exclude

    • E.g., CEW Newsletter Email, Alumni Club Donor 

Report Tabs

There is 1 report tab:

  • Report Tab 1

    • Contains list of Constituents user specified affiliations, as well as Constituents’ full names, Regent’s Hierarchical Constituency, Degrees, and Affiliation Start/End Dates
