What Does It Do?
The OUD-DS3 best practice is for the constituent’s primary business associated to reflect their current employer.
This integrity check identifies when a constituent’s primary business is a previous employer and they have active employment data so that the primary business can be changed to their current employer.
How Is This Done?
This integrity check is run using a SQL Server view called [INTEGRITY_CHECKS].[dbo].[IDS.V-INTEGRITY CHECK-RELATIONSHIP-Switch Primary Business Flag to Current Employer(DW)], which is located in DB-OUD > Databases > INTEGRITY_CHECKS > Views.
That view queries constituents that have an employer relationship record that is their primary business but is inactive (has an end date in the past) and who has an employer relationship record that is active but not their primary business. It indicates that the former employer should have the primary business flag removed and that the primary business flag should be added to the current employer.
Constituents that have more than one current non-primary employer are sent to PDA (Daniyn Wilce) for manual review and update; all other records are shared with DMT for batch changes.
