How do I find the nearest printer on campus?

All enrolled University of Michigan (U-M) students receive an allotment of pages for use on campus printers, managed by U-M Information and Technology Services (ITS). ITS printers are available in all campus computing sites, including many CAEN computer labs and the Duderstadt Center, but they may not always be easy to find. To help, the MPrint service offers an online search for finding a printer in any campus building. To start…

  • Go to in any web browser.
  • Click Tools in the left navigation menu, then Maps:

  • You will be presented with a page of tiles representing all buildings where ITS printers are located. You can then scroll and click the building tile you need, or search via keyword in the upper-right corner, e.g.

Michigan Engineering and CAEN recognize that the accessibility of printers is crucial to each student’s coursework and academic productivity, and we work with ITS to ensure printers are available across all CAEN computers labs and shared Engineering spaces.
