Passwords and DUO

Level 1 Password Reset, Duo Management

Level 2 Password management

  • lvl2.med.umich.edu
    • Reset your level 2 password
    • Sync lvl1 and lvl2 password
  • Call MM-IT for reset assistance

Cloud Storage & Collaboration

We have several storage options available:

Dropbox

  • Dropbox.umich.edu
  • We recommend installing the Dropbox app on your computer so you don’t have to download and upload files frequently.

Google Drive

UMSN Shared Drives (U and S Drive)

  • Can be located on the ‘This PC’ window in file explorer on the left side
  • U drive is for personal work data, 
  • S drive is for public departmental data

Microsoft OneDrive

  • (@med.umich.edu account)
  • Disabled on our School’s computers, but used by Michigan Medicine IT

WIFI

You should connect to MWireless when possible. The Mguest network only gives limited access and network speeds.

SELF-SERVE SOFTWARE

  • Windows: Just press the start button and search for “Software Center” and you can install missing/needed software
  • Mac: Search for Managed Software Center to do the same

EMAIL

Here at the school we have access to two email accounts. Your Gmail account ‘@umich.edu’ and your Outlook account ‘@med.umich.edu’.
Outlook is the primary account you should be checking everyday, because it receives emails from both email addresses.
