Update / Request Software for Otto

Overview

ITS MiWorkspace has a service form to fill out to request software changes.

Their team prefers .msi files over .exe

UMSN Software Locations

Here is where we obtain various software:

  • Respondus
    • Sign into the Respondus Admin page
    • Select "LockDown Browser Installer"
    • Download the appropriate Windows, Mac, or Win Lab / managed  msi file.
  • Echo360
    • Log into Echo360
    • In the upper right, select the cog, then select Downloads
    • Download the appropriate Universal Capture: Classroom or Personal file
      • For Classroom you'll need the Institution ID key which can be found by pressing the i next to the download.

Turnaround time

After submitting the form, ITS may ask you questions about how to deploy the software.

Then the turn around time may be 2 weeks.

Thanks for your request.  Please note that our standard turn-around time for packaging requests is approximately 2 weeks / 10 business days, which includes the packaging and testing of several deployment methods, as well as any Unit testing that is required before a productions deployment.
