Content Manager Info

• Signage Category Screenshot:

    • All digital signs, sub-categories, and the corresponding playlists live within these categories.
      • 
  • Playlists are what house the Templates. We keep it to one playlist/sign.
  • Templates are what house the content that plays on the signs.  We keep it to one template/playlist.
    • Templates should be labeled as such with the words 'Nursing Template' in the name.
    • School of Nursing templates are located under the 'Templates' Tab as seen in this screenshot:
      • 
        • Note that not all templates are used, but are generally labeled for what they would be used for.
    • Templated content items are customisable within the sign itself.

      • The current Nursing content is located under the 'Content' Tab as seen in this screenshot:
        • 
          • Content is sorted by the category/location of the digital signs, although the current state of content organization needs to be evaluated and tidied up.
        • School of Nursing Video content is currently hosted here:  S:\Nursing-IT\Videos
          • Please do not move existing content around in here without full understanding of the impact it has on signage.
          • If adding new content, please create and add it to a folder that describes what the content is for.  IE location/content type etc.
