Microphones at the LSA Opportunity Hub Navigation Desk

This article is provided for Opportunity Hub staff who work at the LSA Building's Navigation Desk, overlooking the LSA Atrium.

Our microphones use rechargeable batteries

• None of these microphones, which have been haphazardly crammed into the charging base, will take a charge unless properly seated so that the contacts are aligned with the charging pins. 

• The charging base has indicator lights to tell you the status of the rechargeable battery

  • Green means the battery is fully charged

  • Red means the battery is less than fully charged

  • White indicates that the microphone and the base have not established a connection

• Look for the contacts at the base of the microphone

• Make sure that the contacts are properly aligned with the charging pins in the charging bay

Please do not insert lithium batteries into the microphones, which are only to be used with rechargeable batteries.
