3D Cinema - how to request movie screenings

This article explains policies and procedures for requesting 3D movie projection in North Quad room 1105. Everything stated here applies equally to all 3D screenings, course-related or otherwise.

North Quad 1105 is equipped for screening movies in 3D

Here is the procedure for requesting this specialized service:

• Fill out and submit a Special Event Request Form

  • Answer questions under the heading Services Needed:

    • Is this a movie screening?
    • What format will the movie be provided in?
    • Have you secured the necessary rights for public performance of the movie?

• In the box marked Event Description:

  • Please confirm that you will be providing 3D disc media:

    • Movie title(s)
    • Duration(s)
    • Any additional information not provided above

Important notes:

• The 3D cinema system in NQ 1105 cannot be accessed or operated without a technician.

• 3D cinema requires a consultation, and an on-site technician assigned to the event.

• Advanced access to all of the screening media is required for testing purposes.

• All media needs to be tested in advance of any confirmation of the possibility of 3D screening(s).

• (Example: for W26, all of Professor Solomon’s 3D media was tested before his semester-long course.)
