Cynap wireless pop-up issue

This article explains the probable cause of a pop-up appearing onscreen while Cynap wireless is in use, and how to make the pop-up disappear.

 

 

Issue

Sometimes while Cynap wireless is in use, a pop-up message appears onscreen.

This uninvited distraction may lead to a call asking for technical assistance.

Environment

This issue has been reported where Cynap wireless devices are mounted in classroom podiums.

Cause

The pop-up might be triggered if the Cynap unit’s button gets accidentally bumped by the user,

or by someone else, hours earlier, who wasn’t even using the wireless system.

Resolution

To close the pop-up, press the power button (once) on the front of the Cynap device.
