Setup

  • Install the "Windows App" from the Managed Software Center.
  • If accessing off campus, ensure the VPN is configured.
  • Open the Windows App, click the "+" in the upper right corner, and select "Add PC."
  • In the PC name box, type "fo-cure9000-pt2.adsroot.itcs.umich.edu".
  • In the credentials box, enter umroot\your uniqname as the user name and your password.
  • Click Done.

How To Use

  • If off campus, connect to the VPN (all traffic has been tested and works).
  • Open the Windows App.
  • Double-click the box with the server name (fo-cure9000-pt2.adsroot.itcs.umich.edu).  If this is not showing, click the Devices on the left menu and then the expansion arrow next to Saved PCs.

  • Windows will launch in full screen, and you will see a DUO prompt. The 3-digit number needed for your DUO device is in small print at the bottom of the DUO window.
  • You should now be connected to the CCURE server.
  • After completing your task, sign out of Windows by clicking the Start menu in the lower left corner, then click the person icon and select sign out. You can then close the Windows App.
