How to handle Security and Content Enabling notices
- After downloading and launching a PowerPoint slides how with embedded clips, presenters using podium computers in classrooms and auditoriums must respond to this security message:
- Click on Enable Editing and a security warning will appear indicating that references to external media objects have been blocked. Click Enable Content and you're good to go.
- Other security warnings, like this one that appeared when a PowerPoint without embedded clips was opened, may be easily resolved by clicking Enable Content.
- These security and enabling notices are less likely to appear on laptop computers because installed, centrally managed computers in classrooms and auditoriums tend to treat every session as if PowerPoint is being opened for the first time.
