Projection screen control in Tappan 180

Summary

Presenters sometimes call for assistance because they are unable to locate the switch to raise or lower the projection screen in Tappan 180. This illustrated article shows the exact location of the switch.

Body

Regularly used for History of Art lectures, Tappan 180 is a vintage classroom that has been updated with modern equipment. A potentially confusing feature is the location of the projection screen control switch, which can be found at the back of the room in a small alcove fitted with various switches mounted in different parts of the alcove. The white switch used for raising and lowering the screen is clearly visible on the back wall. The other switches, to the left and right, control lighting in the room.
