Identifying a Primary Device for yourself in Software Center as a Windows User

This article provides instructions on how to navigate Software Center to identify a Windows device as a Primary Device associated with the currently logged in User.


From the Windows device that is a Primary Device, while logged in as the User that is intended to be affiliated with the machine, associate the Device and User using Software Center Options.


Windows machines managed by LSA.


While logged in on the device that you would like set as one of your primary devices, as the user you would like affiliated with the device:

  1. Launch Software Center
  2. Select Options on the Left Panel
  3. Check "I regularly use this computer to do my work."

Additional notes

One user may have multiple primary devices, one device may have multiple primary users.
