Changing a Zoom display name

Answer

The Zoom display name is pulled from your "Preferred Name" in Wolverine Access.

To change it, follow these instructions:

In Wolverine Access, navigate to Employee Self Service → Campus Personal Information → Names → Update or Add a preferred name

Keep in mind, changing your primary name will not change your Zoom display name. Only adding a preferred name will change it.

Additional notes

Once you are done, log out and log back in to Zoom (Using SSO and "Umich" as company domain). If necessary, log into Zoom (umich.zoom.us) through a different browser to force reauthentication of your account.
