Answer

The PAUL is the Physics Authorized User Lab, a computer lab.

The PAUL is for use only by the following Department of Physics users:

  • Faculty
  • Staff
  • Graduate students
  • Undergraduate students, including declared majors and others doing physics-related work

The PAUL contains 1 Linux system, 3 Macs, and 8 Windows machines with software typically found on physics desktops. There are also work spaces where you can use your personal laptop. In addition, there are two departmental printers nearby. Both are labeled with their queue names.

The PAUL also contains a poster cutter, which is available for anyone printing a poster in LSA Technology Services' Randall office.
