Logging into Google Chrome Browser so that user bookmarks and settings are saved in Google Cloud.

  1. Proceed with the steps in this Google support document.
  2. Be aware that for U-M logins, another co-sign box will open to verify your University of Michigan Account ,so you will need to place your uniqname \ kerberos password in again.
  3. If you have Duo 2-factor authentication turned on, you will need to approve the login via Duo.
  4. After successfully logging in, Google will verify that it is you. Click OK.

Additional notes

After above steps are followed, you will stay logged into your browser. Any new or existing bookmarks will be save in Google cloud. To verify, close the chrome browser and re launch it. Once it has been reopened you will see your uniqname or first name at the upper top right hand corner.
